MA60 Incidents Worry Myanma

Myanma Airways, the state airline of Burma/Myanmar, has grounded its fleet of three Chinese MA60 turboprops following a second incident inside a month. On Monday (June 10) one of its MA60s swerved off the runway while landing, while just a day before that in Indonesia another MA60, operated by Merpati Nusantara Airlines, suffered a hard landing that looks likely to have written off the airframe. Myanma also operates ATR turboprops and Embraer jets.
