Spanish charter carrier Evelop Airlines has signed an agreement for Monarch Aircraft Engineering to provide base maintenance services for its fleet of Airbus A330-300s.
Evelop, based out of Palma Majorca, is a new customer for Monarch which will carry out the first check on the aircraft later this summer.
All maintenance work will be undertaken at Monarch’s MRO facility in Birmingham, UK.
Neil Kirby, sales manager at Monarch Aircraft Engineering, said the agreement demonstrates the maintenance specialist’s ability to secure new business in a competitive market.
Set up in 2013, Evelop operates seasonal flights to destinations in Europe and the Caribbean.
Along with two A330s, it also flies a single Airbus A320-200.
