Norwegian Takes Two 787-9s

Norwegian has signed an agreement with MG Aviation to acquire two new 787-9 Dreamliners on lease. Both aircraft will be delivered in the first quarter of 2016. The airline currently has three 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft in its long-haul fleet, as well as five more on order. “In order to run a competitive long-haul operation, we are dependent on brand new cost-efficient aircraft. I´m very satisfied to have secured our first two 787-9 Dreamliners,” said Norwegian’s CEO Bjørn Kjos.
