Germania, which has a long-standing relationship with SR Technics, has signed a new $180m long-term agreement with the MRO for services to the CFM56 -5B and -7B engines which power its fleet of A319, A321 and 737-700 aircraft.
Meanwhile, SAS has chosen SR Technics to complete seven cabin modifications on A330 and A340 aircraft.
The $15m one-year contract covers the replacement of business, premium economy and economy class seats, in-flight entertainment and in-seat power systems.
New galleys and stowage will also be installed along with moodlight cabin-dim lights.
SR Technics will also provide c-checks and repainting of the aircraft, with completion expected in the second half of the year.
Both contracts will be completed at SR Technic’s Zurich facility.
