Syphax Places $145m CFM Order

GE Aviation has secured a $145m engine order from Syphax Airlines. The carrier has selected the CFM International’s LEAP-1A and CFM56-5B engines to power three A320neos and three A319/A320ceo aircraft, respectively. On Monday, AFM reported that the Tunisian carrier was to place an order for 10 A320s and start a new route between Sfax and Benghazi later this year.
