Turkish Airlines' net profit during the 3Q hit TRY705m ($346m), in line with last year's result. However, it was down six per cent over a nine-month period to TRY836m ($410m). The airline's sales rose 28 per cent during the 3Q and 26 per cent for the first nine months of the year. Operating profit stood at TRY864m ($424m) for the 3Q and it improved 12 per cent for the nine months. Turkish Airlines' network increased to 239 destinations, including 197 international, in a total of 104 countries. This includes an additional 16 international and six domestic routes that have been launched in 2013.
