United Opens New Washington Hangar

United Airlines has opened its new widebody aircraft maintenance hangar today at Washington Dulles International Airport. The new 125,000 ft2 hangar, which includes 85,000ft2 of enclosed aircraft space, cost United nearly $45m to construct. The new facility will enable the airline to perform maintenance on two widebody aircraft or several narrowbody aircraft simultaneously.
