United Opens New Widebody Hangar At EWR

United Airlines has opened a new widebody aircraft maintenance hangar at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR); the opening followed the unveiling of its new global services reception lobby at the airport. United invested $35m to construct the facility, which will help support the airline’s widebody aircraft, including the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and the A350-XWB, which United will begin flying in 2018.
