Virgin Australia has announced a number of new flights following codeshare agreements with Etihad and Singapore Airlines (SIA) and recent regulatory approvals. From 3 June, Virgin Australia will fly to Milan and Amsterdam under a deal with Etihad. It will also fly to Milan and Rome under an agreement with SIA, also coming into effect on 3 June. Customers travelling on Virgin Australia’s network will be able to connect through Abu Dhabi on to Milan or Amsterdam on the same ticket. The codeshare flight between Abu Dhabi and Milan will be operated by a two-class A330-200 seven times a week. Abu Dhabi to Amsterdam will be operated by a two-class A330-200 seven times per week. Virgin Australia customers will also be able to connect through Singapore on to Milan or Rome on the same ticket. These flights will be operated by a two-class 777-200 between Singapore and Rome three times a week and a three-class 777-200ER between Singapore and Milan five times a week.
