StandardAero Component Services Opens New Cincinnati Facility

The company is currently looking to fill more than 70 open positions at the new facility.

StandardAero Component Services has opened its new component repair facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. The 206,000 sq. ft. facility, which is located next to an existing 236,000 sq. ft. component repair facility, will accommodate growth on new and legacy platforms, commercial and military engines and larger components.

“As new engine platforms are launched and legacy fleets are still maintained, the entire industry is seeing tremendous growth,” says Rick Stine, president of StandardAero Components, Helicopters and Accessories. “Demand for component repair has increased so we are stepping up to directly support our customers and address the continued and rapid need for more component repair capacity.”

The new facility is one of three expansions StandardAero Component Services has invested in this year. The other expansions—in Hillsboro, Ohio and Miami, Florida—increased shop capacity by an additional 60,000 sq. ft.

StandardAero says overall investment to fund the expansions will exceed $20 million in construction and capital equipment once they are completed. With the new Cincinnati facility, StandardAero is expecting to employ between 200-300 new technicians over the next 12-18 months. There are currently more than 70 open positions posted publicly for jobs at the new facility.
