Aerolineas Argentinas Enlists AFI KLM E&M For APU Support

Argentinian flag carrier’s entire fleet is covered under the agreement by AFI KLM E&M APU subsidiary EPCOR.

AFI KLM E&M has signed an agreement for its specialist subsidiary EPCOR to provide APU coverage on Aerolineas Argentinas’ entire aircraft fleet.

Netherlands-based EPCOR, which says it repairs around 3500 components annually, holds capabilities for every type of APU in the Aerolieas Argentinas fleet.

The AFI KLM E&M unit has previously worked with the state-owned airline on a number of agreements encompassing engine work, parts repair and APU overhauls.

Previous experience, according to Hernan Flombaum, Aerolineas Argentinas components and engines provisioning manager, was a factor in extending the contract.

“It was natural for us to maintain our trust with this reliable partner, especially as EPCOR has a global reputation for its expertise and the effectiveness of its APU support solutions,” he added.
