The African Business Aviation Association (AfBAA) has signed a memorandum of understanding with MRO Jet Support Services (JSSI) in a bid to promote best practice in aircraft maintenance. The five-year agreement will see AfBAA members incentivised to sign up to JSSI cost-per-flight hour programmes for their business jets. The services will cover MRO for engines and auxillary power units. “This agreement will serve to enhance aircraft values, reinforce a positive perception of the value of African aircraft and will provide operators with an additional layer of expertise in maintenance planning and performance. This is all invaluable for the African market,” said Tarek Ragheb, AfBAA’s founding chairman.
