AFI KLM E&M signed a contract with Air Mauritius to organize power-by-the-hour component support for its fleet of three ATR 72-500s.
The new agreement adds to an existing arrangement for aircraft maintenance services on the carrier’s fleet of turboprops.
It includes AFI KLM E&M providing component repairs, access to its spares pool and the provision of main base kit. AFI KLM E&M said the contract could be extended if more aircraft are brought into the Air Mauritius fleet.
Both parties have had an association for more than 15 years.
Jean-Michel Picard, AFI KLM E&M VP sales Africa & Middle East, said: “By designing tailored maintenance and availability solutions for them we have been able to retain their trust and we are delighted to have done so, now that AFI KLM E&M supplies MRO services for the entire Air Mauritius fleet.”
