Air BP To Buy SFR Aviation

Aviation fuel supplier Air BP is set to acquire Statoil Fuel & Retail Aviation (SFR Aviation) which operates at 82 airports across Scandinavia, Northern Europe and Greenland.

Under the deal, which is yet to be approved by regulators, Air BP aims to purchase SFR Aviation from its Canadian owner Couche Tard before the end of the year.

Buying SFR Aviation will boost Air BP’s Scandinavian presence, particularly in Norway, adding 73 new airports to its 600-strong portfolio of facilities.

Air BP has confirmed that 59 SFR Aviation employees based in NorwayAir BP, SFR Aviation, fuel, Sweden and Denmark will join its staff after the purchase is complete.
