Air Canada Wins Pension Extension

Air Canada has been given a seven-year extension to resolve its $4.2-billion pension deficit, allowing the carrier to go ahead with a fleet replacement plan and the launch of a new low-cost carrier. The airline’s shares rose four per cent on the news.
