AJW lands Tigerair Australia contract

AJW Aviation has signed a long-term components support contract with Tigerair Australia.

The cost-per-flight hour contract covers the supply, repair and overhaul of components for the Melbourne-headquartered airline’s fleet of 13 A320 family aircraft.

The agreement further increases AJW’s presence in the region after it signed a deal with Air New Zealand in 2013 to provide support for the carrier’s A320 fleet. Earlier this month,

Virgin Australia outlined its plans to buy the remaining 40 per cent of shares in Tigerair Australia for just AS$1.
