AJW Technique To Support Tunisair Technics For Airbus, Boeing Parts

Canada-headquartered component MRO links up with second North African customer.

AJW Technique, the Canada-based component MRO specialist, will support Tunisair Technics for more than 300 part numbers on its Airbus and Boeing aircraft fleet.

The multi-year agreement gives Tunisair access to repairs services from its maintenance facility in Montreal.

At the center, AJW will also analyze component and sub-component reliability data against the specific flight characteristics of the operator.

Imed Mhiri, general manager at Tunisair Technics, said: “Trusting AJW Technique with a large portion of our maintenance requirement will be of significant benefit to us. It will facilitate progression in terms of operation as well as commercially when considering our total fleet cost.”

Tunisair becomes the second company in the North African region to sign up for AJW Technique’s component service, following low-cost carrier Air Arabia Egypt since 2013.
