AMAC Aerospace has announced the signing of new maintenance contracts covering Boeing and Airbus aircraft at its facility in Basel, Switzerland.
The first is for an A319 aircraft operated by an unnamed Middle Eastern carrier. AMAC technicians will carry out a heavy maintenance C-check on the aircraft and the work follows two A320s which recently entered the facility for annual checks.
In addition to the Airbus agreement, the Swiss MRO has also won a tender to that conduct a C-check and cabin modifications on a Boeing aircraft.
