Ameco Grows Line Maintenance Business

Ameco has confirmed its third-party line maintenance work for international customers has increased.

By the end of August, the Chinese MRO said that eight customers had signed up for line maintenance and releasing services, making the total amount of international customers for line maintenance in excess of seventy involving all Boeing and Airbus widebody aircraft types, including the A350 and the 787, for which Ameco has grown its line maintenance capabilities.

In May, Ameco gained CAAC approval on the 787-9 variant for line maintenance, scheduled check, modification, engine change and axillary ower unit change. The CAAC approval added to existing certifications from EASA and the FAA.

Along with its main facility in Beijing, Ameco has nine other branches located in Chengdu, Chongqing, Hangzhou, Tianjin, Hohhot, Shanghai, Guiyang, Wuhan and Guangzhou.
