All Nippon Airways (ANA) has signed up for Boeing’s optimised maintenance programme (OMP) for its fleet of 777 aircraft.
The OEM says it will work with the Japanese carrierto reduce labour and material costs and increase the efficiency of maintenance operations.
As a part of the OMP, Boeing will perform analysis of ANA’s historical maintenance data and develop a new MRO programme for the 777 fleet.
The OMP covers ANA’s current fleet and the 777X aircraft ANA has on order.
Earlier this year ANA ordered 20 777-9Xs and six 777-300ERs.
