Fire Closes Kenyan International Airport

A huge fire has shut down an international airport in Nairobi, Kenya. Passengers were evacuated at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), while incoming flights were diverted to regional cities. The fire originated in the immigration zone of the main arrivals terminal, with firefighters taking around four hours to put it out. The cause of the fire is not yet known and there have been no reports of any casualties. Hundreds of passengers were left stranded as a result of the airport closure.
