FLY Leasing has signed agreements with a leading Asian airline to buy three A330-300 aircraft.
FLY is set to receive the first of the aircraft, which were manufactured in 2013 and 2014, in the coming weeks and remaining two will arrive before the end of the year.
In a separate deal, FLY has purchased a 737-800 on a long-term lease to a leading European carrier.
Having now purchased 12 aircraft in 2014, the firm’s CEO, Colm Barrington confirmed that FLY was on track to beat its 15 per cent fleet growth target for the second year in a row.
FLY currently has a fleet of 118 aircraft on lease to more than 65 airlines.
