FLY Purchases Two 737s

FLY Leasing has purchased a 737-700 and a 737-800, manufactured in 2002 and 2008 respectively. The aircraft are being leased to airlines in South America and Europe. The acquisitions will be financed from the company's free cash and its term loan, which was increased in November 2013. “Our goal is to grow our fleet by up to 15 per cent this year with a continued focus on new or nearly new aircraft,” said Colm Barrington, CEO of FLY.
