GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) has selected CFM International’s LEAP 1-A engine to power 60 A320neo family aircraft.
GECAS placed the aircraft and engine order yesterday (June 15) at the Paris Air Show.
The LEAP order is worth a total $1.77bn at current list prices.
The new A320neo family order is valued at $6.4bn and adds to the 60 aircraft it already has on order.
