HAECO Implementing Software As Part of Digital Transformation

HAECO is starting to implement AMOS MRO software at its Hong Kong headquarters.

As part of a digital transformation project at HAECO Group, its MRO in Hong Kong is implementing Swiss-AS’s AMOS maintenance software and will apply it across its airframe services. HAECO Hong Kong says the integrated MRO software will replace its current system that includes several point-to-point solutions.

HAECO didn’t disclose how long the implementation would take but acknowledged the pre-sales process was in-depth, which enabled the process to start soon after the agreement signing.

HAECO Hong Kong plans to use several AMOS MRO Edition functions, including those for quotes/contracts, hangar planning and production. To supplement the desktop version, the MRO also plans to use AMOSmobile for heavy and line maintenance.

Kevin Kruger, HAECO Hong Kong’s director and general manager, says AMOS “will enable transparency, improve quotation and billing cycles and enhance communications with our customers.”

To help with the back-end management, HAECO also chose the AMOS Operation Service, which oversees the AMOS application server and database server administration.

While the implementation is focused on HAECO’s Hong Kong operation initially, the agreement “lays the foundation for implementing AMOS in other HAECO group companies,” according to the software provider, which is as subsidiary of Swiss International Air Lines.

The HAECO Group consists of 17 subsidiaries and joint ventures around the world.
