HAITEC Signs 757 C-Check Contract With Icelandair

HAITEC Aircraft Maintenance has signed a contract with Icelandair to carry out C-Checks on some of its fleet of 757 aircraft.

The work will be carried out at Hahn Airport in January and the deal further expands HAITEC’s operations with Icelandic carriers, with the firm already providing MRO services to WOW Air and Air Atlanta Icelandic.

The latest contract is part of HAITEC’s growth strategy which also includes the expansion of its Hahn Airport facility to 17,000m2, scheduled to be operational by mid-2016.

Frank Rott, CEO at HAITEC, said: “This expansion was inevitable as our customer base is growing continuously and we need additional hangar space to efficiently satisfy our customers’ demands.”
