Hawaiian Signs On For More Trent 700s, TotalCare Support

Engine OEM will expand coverage for more engines powering Hawaiian-operated jets.

Hawaiian Airlines has placed an order for Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines to power an additional Airbus A330 aircraft, with maintenance for the turbofans covered by the British engine maker’s TotalCare offering.

The airline currently operates 23 A330s powered by Rolls-Royce, with the engines also covered by its TotalCare aftermarket services package.

Hawaiian also plans to add six of the A330neo aircraft to its fleet, with the next-generation aircraft powered by Rolls-Royce’s Trent 7000 variant.

Lewis Prebble, Rolls-Royce, senior vice president, customers – Civil Aerospace, said: “Hawaiian Airlines is a valued customer that continues to develop its fleet for future growth.”
