Cabin humidification systems are set to be the biggest trend in aircraft retrofits over the next five years, according to MRO Network readers.
The results of an online poll over the past two weeks revealed that 70 per cent of participants believe that airlines will be to looking install humidifiers in older aircraft, rather than new avionics or aerodynamic improvements, such as winglets.
Retrofitting WiFi connectivity was ranked second of the potential retrofit trends with 17 per cent of votes, followed by changes to cabin configurations to boost seat numbers with eight per cent of the vote.
