Air Transat has signed an agreement with International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC) in which it will be leased four 737-800s. The deal has a term of eight years. The aircraft, which will be introduced in summer 2014, will be operated on routes to Mexico, the Caribbean and Florida. The agreement also includes the renewal until 2020 and 2021 of the leases on six A330 aircraft – three A330-200s and A330-300s – with improved terms. Air Transat's fleet currently consists of nine A310s and 12 A330s.
