Intrepid And GECAS Announce New Deals

US lessors Intrepid Aviation and GECAS announce the completion of new sale and leaseback agreements

US lessor Intrepid Aviation has completed the sale and leaseback of a second A330 aircraft from the Taiwan-based carrier China Airlines.

The widebody, which is equipped with two CF6 engines, was manufactured in late 2012 and has been on lease to China Airlines since.

Meanwhile, GECAS has completed a deal with UK-based travel group TUI for the sale and leaseback of two new GEnx engines. The engines will be used as spares to support the group’s fleet of 787 aircraft.
