Irish Execs To Form New Leasing Company

A group of Irish aviation executives are to form a new leasing firm, Octagon Aviation Capital, according to the Irish Independent. The lessor will focus on the Asian market and will include Eamonn Cronin, former vice-president of finance at AWAS, the paper reported. Octagon’s website, which is under development, simply stated: “Octagon Aviation Capital is a holding company for its subsidiaries, which will hold portfolios of commercial jet aircraft and lease them under long-term leases to a diverse group of airlines throughout the world, with a focus in Asia.”
