Libya Embraces Comsoft Solutions

The Libyan Civil Aviation Authority (LCAA) has launched a programme to upgrade its existing AFTN (Aeronautical Fixed Telecommunication Network) and AIS (Aeronautical Information Services) infrastructure in a bid to enhance flight safety.  Comsoft’s AMHS (Aeronautical Message Handling system) and AIM (Aeronautical Information Management) solutions will be provided to LCAA’s central site in Tripoli, in addition to messaging and information management services being delivered via remote installations to Metiga, Mistrata, Sahba, Benina. LCAA will also upgrade its NOTAM, OPMET and briefing and flight plan management facilities.
