Polish maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) service provider Linetech Holding purchased Adria Airways Tehnika (ATT) on Nov. 24 for an undisclosed sum.
The transaction will conclude on Nov. 25, after Linetech transfers the funds and receives 100% of the Slovenian MRO’s shares.
“We aim to grow and develop AAT by investing in people, new technologies and equipment,” including expanding training programs for personnel, said Piotr Kaczor, president of Linetech Holding’s board.
The group will operate six hangars under the merger, allowing 13 aircraft to be maintained simultaneously.
AAT became independent from Adria Airways in 2011. It specializes in Bombardier regional jet and Airbus A320 maintenance and engineering services, as well as engine and component MRO.
Linetech was founded in 2009 and specializes in line and base maintenance for Boeing 737 and Airbus A318 and A319 narrowbodies, as well as Embraer ERJ and ATR 42 and 72 aircraft.
