MAEL Wins Austrian Airlines Line Maintenance Contract

Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL) has signed a contract with Austrian Airlines to provide line maintenance for its A320 and Embraer E195 flying into Manchester Airport.

The line maintenance handling agreement was signed in December 2015 and will see MAEL provide call out support for the Austrian operated aircraft.

Neil Kirby, sales manager at MAEL, said the firm’s “great experience” on both aircraft types will enable it to deliver “excellent service” to Austrian Airlines, which is a new customer for the Luton-headquartered MRO.
