Magnetic MRO will open its new aircraft painting facility at Tallinn Airport by October 12, 2017.
The expanded facility, announced by Magnetic MRO last year, will offer commercial and VIP standard painting services across an area scheduled to grow from its current 2,000m2 capacity to 4,000m2
It will be equipped with a custom docking system which can be tailored to serve different types of aircraft, while also being able to perform up to four commercial A/C or two VIP aircraft painting per month.
With construction work currently underway, Magnetic MRO said it has already begun receiving inquiries from existing and potential new customers.
Jonas Butautis, CEO of Magnetic MRO, said the expansion demonstrates the firm’s dedication to “innovative and effective solutions though integrated MRO services”.
In the past few years, Magnetic has added a number of new capabilities to its service offering, including evacuation slide offerings for A320 and 767 aircraft, along with the awarding of FAA certification in November 2015.
Butautis added: “In a very short time, Magnetic MRO has grown from a simple third party maintenance provider into a true total technical care provider due to not only the expansion in services provided, but also the ability to understand customers’ needs and come up with distinctive results.”
