MRO Holdings Recognizes Four Suppliers

The MRO group presented its first set of supplier awards during the 2019 MRO Americas Exhibition in Atlanta.

ATLANTA—MRO Holdings recognized four suppliers at Aviation Week Network’s 2019 MRO Americas Exhibition for outstanding service—the first time the aftermarket service provider has done this.

Boeing received the best OEM award and Falcon Dynamics received the best distributor award.

MRO Holdings also recognized two customer service representatives, one of whom is Hector Hernandez, a senior accounts manager at A.J. Levin. “Hector personalizes what we envision: long-term partnerships based on trust and good communications,” says Tania Ayala, MRO Holdings’ supplier and sourcing manager. Hernandez won the “stocked material” category, and for the non-stock award the MRO recognized Roger Mari of Peerless Aerospace.

MRO Holdings surveyed its purchasing team on supplier attributes such as communications, responsiveness and attitude to ascertain the award winners, says Fidel Tario, the company’s senior manager of purchasing, supplier quality and contracts.
