PEMCO World Air Services has added new capabilities tailored for its aircraft conversion and MRO customers.
The services include training for liaison engineers, customised electronic weight and balance load charts, certification consulting and MRO consulting capabilities.
For its liaison engineers offering, the Florida-headquartered firm will provide training for technicians working with PEMCO-converted aircraft operators in the form of a 16-hour course covering the jets’ engineering processes.
Its customised electronic weight and balance load chart will help customers optimise payload and minimise lateral imbalance on aircraft, a service PEMCO said will help save operators’ time and money from developing their own in-house.
Certification consulting services will assist firms interested in certification projects or DER services including engineering design, FAA certification, interior modification, structural analysis, and testing.
PEMCO director of engineering Victor Burnett said the move to expand its services was customer driven. “Customers asked for additional support and we listened.”
He added: “We are enhancing our engineering services to assist airline operators with their business utilising our core strengths.”
