Piedmont Bags Expressjet APU Deal

Piedmont Aviation Component Services is to repair the APUs of Atlanta-based Expressjet’s CRJ-200 fleet over the next four years. The contract is worth up to $12 million and covers 88 aircraft. Piedmont, a subsidiary of Israeli aerospace engineering group TAT Technologies, is an authorised Honeywell service centre. Regional airline ExpressJet operates as American Eagle, Delta Connection and United Express under capacity purchase agreements for several American network carriers.
