Rolls-Royce Picks Up Orders From Oman, Sri Lankan, Air France-KLM

Rolls-Royce has received orders from Oman air, Sri Lankan Airlines and Air France-KLM Group. Oman has ordered Trent 700 engines for three A330 aircraft, plus long-term ‘TotalCare’ support in a deal worth $200m at list prices. Sri Lankan has ordered $800m worth of Trent 1000 and Trent 700 engines to power four A350-900 aircraft and six A330-300 aircraft. The contract also includes long-term ‘TotalCare’ service support. Air France-KLM has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Rolls-Royce for Trent XWB engines to power 25 A350 aircraft and potentially 25 more in an agreement worth $1.1bn at list prices. The contract includes an agreement for the Air France-KLM maintenance organisation to work with Rolls-Royce on Trent XWB engine maintenance support.
