Rolls-Royce Signs Services Contract With Thomson

Engine maker Rolls-Royce is to maintain the RB211-535 engines of Thomson Airways’ fleet of 757s for as long as they remain in service.

Thomson Airways operates 15 757s powered by the RB211-535, with the aircraft ranging from 10 to 20 years of age.

While details of the service agreement haven’t been revealed, Bruce Blythe, SVP – customers at Rolls-Royce, has confirmed that it was a “fixed price overhaul solution”.
