Royal Jordanian Airlines has entered into an agreement with Turkish Technic to receive line replaceable units (LRU) components pool support and spares for the V2500 engines powering its fleet of A320 family aircraft.
Under the terms of the contract, the services and spares will be provided from Turkish Technic’s Istanbul base along with its global supply station network.
Turkish Technic said the agreement, which sees it reach a fleet size of about 800 aircraft in the component pool market, will also help grow its presence in the Middle East region.
Royal Jordanian president and CEO Captain Suleiman Obeidat said: “We are pleased to cooperate with a pioneer MRO company in the region, Turkish Technic. We believe their contributions and technical services will back our endeavors to provide a continued on-time, efficient operation, all for an enhanced passenger satisfaction.”
