Safran has confirmed two new CEO appointments to head up its Landing Systems and Nacelle Units.
Jean-Paul Alary will become CEO of Safran Landing Systems, the manufacturer and services division for landing gears based in Vélizy-Villacoublay outside of Paris.
Alary was previously CEO of Safran’s nacelle business, a role he held since 2015. Two years prior, he was also Jean-Paul Alary was executive vice president of its Safran Electronics division at Sagem, which now operates as Safran Electronics & Defense.
Taking over from Alary at Safran Nacelles will be Cédric Goubet, who becomes CEO of the business following a three-year spell as executive vice president, commercial engine division at Safran Aircraft Engines, which partners with GE Aviation on the CFM International engine joint venture.
Like Alaary, Goubet will also now join Safran’s executive committee.
