Solaseed Air Receives 737-800

Japan’s Solaseed Air has taken delivery of its third new 737-800 passenger aircraft from lessor AWAS. AWAS, which was the first lessor to have worked with the airline, said it “helped develop a fleet solution to enable the airline to move into new generation 737-800s”. Solaseed operates an all-Boeing 737 fleet and codeshares with ANA. It served over 1.3 million passengers in 2012, 15.9 per cent more than the year before.
