Storm Aviation To Start A380 Training

Line maintenance provider Storm Aviation has launched a series of new training courses on maintaining the A380.

Storm, which is based in the UK, is to provide an eight-week course on the aircraft for its B1 and B2 engineers in September.

The course will include six weeks of theory study at Stansted Airport, and two weeks of practical work at Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

The FL Technics subsidiary is also providing A380 B1-to-B2 and B2-to-B1 conversion courses alongside the main course, running at nine and 16 days respectively.

In addition, Storm said it will also provide a week-long A380 general familiarisation course for its customers.
