AJW Aviation signs five-year agreement with Southern Air

AJW Aviation signed a five-year agreement with Southern Air to provide power-by-the-hour support for four Boeing 737 aircraft. The 737s will be utilized domestically, flying for DHL across the USA, Latin America, and the Caribbean.  This contract is AJW's second with Southern Air and will run concurrently with a twelve-year agreement for four Boeing 747 and four Boeing 777 aircraft.
Sierra Nevada renewed strategic relationship with Flyht
Sierra Nevada and Flyht Aerospace Solutions have renewed their strategic relationship by updating their license and manufacturing agreement and adding a value-added reseller agreement. This relationship involves AFIRSTM, Flyht’s automated flight information reporting system that operates on multiple aircraft types and provides functions including aircraft position on-demand streaming of black box data, voice and text messaging, and data collection and transmission. To store and transfer data to customer in real time, AFIRS sends information to UpTime, the ground service product. This stored information can increase safety, improve service, and enhance profitability.
Premier Aviation signs exclusive contract with Air Canada
Air Canada has finalized a five-year exclusive contract with Premier Aviation for the provision of airframe heavy maintenance support on Air Canada's fleet of 45 Embraer E-190 aircraft. Premier will perform the heavy maintenance at its Trois-Rivieres Airport near Montreal.
