Transaero, UTair In Strategic Agreement

Transaero Airlines and UTair Aviation have entered into a strategic co-operation agreement. Both airlines said they would consider signing interline agreements, a special pro-rate agreement, codeshare agreements and a re-protection agreement, with the aim of developing both domestic and international passenger and air cargo markets. The airlines intend to synchronise flight schedules and frequency in order to “achieve the most convenient flight connections at airports and also merge frequent flyer programmes”.
