Aerostructures supplier and MRO Triumph has bought Texas-based maintenance firm North American Aircraft Services (NAAS).
NAAS, which specialises in maintaining aircraft fuel systems, will now operate as Triumph Aviation Services and joins the industry giant’s aftermarket services division.
NAAS, which employs 300 people worldwide, counts OEMs Boeing, Airbus and Northrop Grumman among its customers as well as carriers such as Southwest Airlines.
Its MRO services include line maintenance, ground support, fuel systems repair, fuel leak detection and fuel bladder cell repair.
Triumph predicts that the acquisition of NAAS will add $35m in annual revenues to the company.
The deal follows Triumph’s purchase of GE’s hydraulic actuation business in May.
