UTC Wins China Airlines Parts Contract

Taiwan’s flag-carrier, China Airlines, has agreed a five-year spare parts deal for its Airbus and Boeing aircraft with US parts giant UTC Aerospace Systems.

The contract covers the supply of OEM parts for the air management, electric and engineering systems on the airline’s 30 A330/A340 aircraft, 16 787s and 13 747-400s.

China Airlines operates flights to 114 destinations across Asia-Pacific, Europe and North America. UTC is a subsidiary of United Technologies, which also owns Pratt & Whitney.
