US-based aircraft parts supplier Wencor has bought component maintenance provider PHS/MWA Aviation Services.
The Californian MRO, which is FAA and EASA certified, operates six repair shops providing services on cargo, water and waste systems, as well as electrical-mechanical components and fuel accessories.
PHS/MWA offers support across Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier and Embraer platforms.
Greg Beason CEO of Wencor said the acquisition will “enhance” its subsidiary Soundair Aviation Services, which offers repairs on components, including cockpit transparencies, lavatories and oxygen systems, as well as PMA parts and DER repairs.
Beason said that PHW/MWA would expand Soundair’s international presence and repair capabilities.
