Wizz Air Plans New Budapest Hangar

Low-cost carrier Wizz Air plan to open a new Budapest hangar next year, following an agreement with Budapest’s Ferenc Liszt International Airport signed last week (June 24). The announcement coincides with the airline’s new 15-year lease at the airport, which Wizz Air has flown from for 15 years. The new 2,000 sq-m MRO hangar will also be subject to a 15-year agreement and will cost €3m ($4.9m).
